Enpark's ED to take part in the World Future Energy Summit Round Table on 'Zero Energy Projects'

 Date: 18-01-2010

As part of the initiatives revolving around the World Future Energy Summit, Enpark will take part in one of the public seminars that run parallel to the exhibition: “Discussion on Strategies for Nett Zero Energy Projects in the UAE”.

The discussion will tackle the challenges and solutions for Nett Zero Energy Projects in the UAE, projects with both zero net energy consumption and zero carbon emissions.

This topic is very important right now because of the progress made in new construction technologies and also in collecting precise energy performance data through advanced computer models that show the effectiveness of engineering design decisions.

Ali bin Towaih - Executive Director of Enpark and SEED – will speak about the challenges faced by SEED at the beginning of its mandate, where the data on energy consumption were difficult to gather, up to the latest achievements as mentioned in the Sustainable Development Report. He will also highlight the products and solutions needed and those currently available through Enpark Business Partners.

Other panelists include the Director of Green Technologies - Mr. Mario Seneviratne, often a guest speaker at the Green Building Conferences and seminars co-organized by Enpark, Chairman of Jehan Green Walls – Mr. Sanjay Dalmia, and the Director Middle East for Water, Energy & Environment Technologies of Waagner Biro Gulf – Mr. Peter Neuschaefer.

The session, which is open to everybody, will be held on Tuesday Jan.19 from 11.20 a.m. – 12.45 p.m. at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC).

Visits to the Exhibition and this Seminar are FREE of charge.
